What you’ll do- Maintain and update the asset inventory for all hardware assets.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, transfers, repairs, and secure disposal.
- Ensure accurate asset records, including serial numbers, asset tags, owners, locations, warranty status, and lifecycle information.
- Conduct regular audits, reconciliations, and reporting to support ITAM compliance and internal/external audits.
- Support IT Help Desk with onboarding, offboarding, loaner equipment, and replacement hardware workflows.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams on purchase verification, asset capitalization, and budgeting.
- Coordinate with vendors/OEM teams for warranty claims, repairs, and equipment returns.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, asset utilization, aging hardware, and refresh planning.
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT asset handling and tracking.
- Recommend process improvements and automation to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and control.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including courier, freight, and customs logistics.
- Prepare shipping documentation such as packing slips, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and shipping labels. Select appropriate carriers and shipping methods based on cost, urgency, and service level agreements.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or delivery issues.
- Oversee receiving of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Prepare and review customs documentation to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations. Coordinate with customs brokers and ensure timely clearance of shipments.
