We are looking for a reliable and highly organized IT Support & Administrative Coordinator to join us on a 3-month contract. This role is ideal for someone who has strong communication skills, is comfortable with basic IT support, and can help with both administrative coordination and technical follow-up.
Role OverviewThe successful candidate will assist with general administration, client coordination, ticket follow-up, IT documentation, basic technical support, and internal operational tasks. Experience with NinjaOne RMM is a strong asset, but not required. Basic networking knowledge is also considered a strong advantage.
This position requires someone who can communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal team members, while keeping tasks organized and properly documented.
Responsibilities- Assist with general administrative and operational tasks
- Follow up on open tickets, client requests, and pending items
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members
- Help coordinate appointments, site visits, and technician schedules
- Update spreadsheets, documentation, trackers, and internal notes
- Assist with basic IT support tasks and troubleshooting
- Document work performed clearly and accurately
- Help monitor and update tickets in the company’s support system
- Assist with Microsoft 365 user/account-related tasks when required
- Support basic device, endpoint, and network documentation
- Help review alerts or device statuses in remote monitoring tools
- Escalate technical issues to senior team members when needed
Required Skills- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and document work clearly
- Comfortable speaking with clients in a professional manner
- Basic understanding of IT support concepts
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and/or Google Workspace
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up without constant reminders
- Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Technical Experience Considered an Asset- NinjaOne RMM experience
- Zendesk or other ticketing system experience
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Basic networking knowledge: routers, switches, access points, IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, VPNs
- Endpoint security or antivirus management
- Remote support tools such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or similar
- IT documentation tools such as IT Glue, Hudu, or similar
- Experience working with MSPs or managed IT service providers
- Experience supporting small business or multi-location environments
Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is someone who is technically curious, organized, professional, and reliable. You do not need to be a senior IT administrator, but you should be comfortable learning new systems, following procedures, communicating clearly, and helping keep operations organized.
Strong communication skills are more important than advanced technical knowledge for this role.
Pay: $17.20-$31.42 per hour
