Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for an IT Applications Engineer in our Windsor, Ontario facility. The IT Application Engineer will serve as the first level of support for all departments for end user transactions in the ERP system in addition to supporting other business applications. Summary of Responsibilities:- The IT ERP Systems Analyst- ERP primarily focuses on supporting the CCTS ERP Systems.
- The position is a liaison between technical personnel and end-user departments while evaluating and translating requirements to technical associates and/or vendors where appropriate.
- This position is the functional subject matter expert for the primary ERP system for the organization, Consequently, this position requires a detailed understanding of the features and functionality of both ERP software and their integrations to other modules or applications.
- The role will be responsible for supporting both ERP systems and business process improvement efforts for processes that are enabled by the system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:- Technically strong in SQL, with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Working knowledge of EDI processes, including diagnosing and resolving transaction failure
- Strong Communication, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Requirements:- Extensive experience, 5-10 years, with an ERP system especially in manufacturing environment
- 3-5 Years of experience with IBM System i system administration and DB2 experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Relevant industry certifications are a plus
The salary range for this role is $70,000 – $90,000. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location and business or organizational needs.
