Position SummaryWe are looking for a dependable and proactive IT Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Director, IT, this role is an entry-level role focused on providing first-line technical support and assisting with daily IT operations.
This position is well-suited for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, are looking to expand their IT experience, and want to make an impact on larger projects as needed.
The IT Associate role is an on-site position overlooking multiple properties. This permanent full-time role is a 40-hour work week with flexibility required for weekends and evenings based on business needs.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Provide on-site technical support and resolve IT issues
- Set up and maintain hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems (in-person/remotely)
- Manage support tickets and document solutions
- Assist with IT asset management, onboarding/offboarding
- Support cabling, workstation setup, and infrastructure tasks
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
- Assist with IT projects as needed
Technical Requirements:- Must posses experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
- Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS), domain controllers
- Windows OS and helpdesk support experience
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote tools
- Preferred working experience with: Opera, Toast, Screen Connect, Cloudbeds, Assa Abloy Visionline, PBXact, ComXchange, HikVision, EyeinCloud, SonicWall, Grandstream, Sage50, SageHR
- Bonus: VLANs and Cisco CLI
Qualifications:- 1–3 years of experience in IT or a related technical role (or equivalent education).
- Positive attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills and commitment to delivering reliable in-office support.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple requests efficiently.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Candidate must have a vehicle.
Physical Requirements:- Lift and move IT equipment (up to ~50 lbs)
- Perform cabling, installations, and work in tight spaces
- Use tools (crimpers, testers) and climb ladders when needed
