IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator Full-time, Continuing
POSITION SUMMARYThe IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, security, and ongoing support of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This position supports servers, networks, cloud services, identity systems, and enterprise application integrations to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations.
Working in a collaborative IT team, the position is a hands-on, technically advanced role involving server administration, networking, systems integration, security, and infrastructure planning, while working closely with IT team members, vendors, and business stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Design, implement, maintain, and support on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization environments.
- Administer and support network infrastructure components such as routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, VPNs, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Manage Microsoft Windows server environments, virtual machines, backups, recovery systems, and infrastructure-related services.
- Administer Active Directory, user access, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and identity and access management processes.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls, monitoring, and compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Support enterprise systems integrations, secure data transfers, system upgrades, and automation initiatives.
- Assist with the configuration, monitoring, and support of hybrid cloud and SaaS infrastructure environments.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, reliability, and capacity, and troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, maintenance activities, and vendor-supported services.
- Document systems, procedures, and configurations, and provide technical support and collaboration across IT teams and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, virtualization, and cloud services.
- Strong experience with Microsoft environments, Active Directory, Hyper-V/VMware, networking, and infrastructure security.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and systems issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and support occasional after-hours maintenance as required.
- Professing Christian able to sign King’s Statement of Faith
