A telecommunications solutions company in Markham is currently seeking an IT Network Administration/Helpdesk Technician to support the successful delivery of IT services, infrastructure, and low-voltage technology projects.

Pay: $22/hr to $24/hr (base + bonus). Potential to earn more
Responsibilities- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT and infrastructure projects, including managed services, networking, and low-voltage technology deployments
- Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables with internal technical teams and external vendors
- Track service tickets, project milestones, risks, and action items to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope
- Perform basic technical troubleshooting and issue triage for IT systems, networks, and connected infrastructure, assisting with root cause identification and escalation when required
- Provide excellent customer service and client support, ensuring prompt communication, issue follow-up, and overall client satisfaction
- Assist with account management activities, including maintaining client relationships, supporting service reviews, and ensuring ongoing client needs are addressed
- Act as a primary coordination point between clients and internal technical teams, translating technical requirements and ensuring expectations are clearly communicated
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, schedules, reports, and implementation plans
- Support vendor coordination, procurement tracking, and change management processes
- Collaborate with teams supporting IT infrastructure, networking, and low-voltage solutions such as structured cabling, access control, surveillance systems, and AV technologies
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, IT support, account coordination, customer service, or related roles
- Foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and managed service environments
- Experience with technical troubleshooting, service desk support, or ticket management systems
- Exposure to low-voltage technologies such as structured cabling, security systems, AV, or building technologies is an asset
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer relationship management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical teams, vendors, and clients
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
