Manulife is hiring an IT Sourcing Manager for an existing vacancy. The role is hybrid and listed in Waterloo, Ontario, with another location also noted.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT and software sourcing and contracting initiatives, including renewals, amendments, sourcing strategy, supplier selection, and negotiations.
• Coordinate with Technology stakeholders, Legal, Risk, and Finance to resolve commercial and contract issues.
• Manage sourcing workflows and deal documentation using procurement and contract lifecycle systems, including Ivalua and Sirion where applicable.
• Support technology procurement governance, benchmarking, opportunity assessments, and business cases.
• Track sourcing metrics and develop dashboards, reports, and executive-ready presentations.
• Help shape AI-enabled procurement improvements, pilots, and adoption.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of progressive experience in IT or software sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or consulting, with direct negotiation and contracting responsibility.
• Experience leading cross-functional sourcing initiatives and developing commercial and analytical strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce executive-ready materials.
• Working knowledge of procurement and contract lifecycle workflows; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Power BI or similar analytics experience is an asset. Experience with AI-related procurement and a relevant post-secondary degree or equivalent experience are also assets.

Compensation

Expected salary range: $92,900–$142,900 CAD per year. Incentive compensation may also be available.
