Position Summary:We are seeking a PART-TIME IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day technical support to clinic staff, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure our systems operate efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide first-level technical support to clinical and administrative staff
- Troubleshoot issues related to computers, printers, phones, and other devices
- Support EMR system access and basic user issues (we use PS Suite)
- Assist with network connectivity and system performance issues
- Maintain and set up workstations and equipment
- Support onboarding/offboarding of staff from an IT perspective
- Escalate complex issues to external IT vendors as needed
- Ensure compliance with privacy and security best practices in a healthcare environment
Qualifications:- Experience in IT support or a related technical role
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Windows-based systems and basic networking
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a healthcare/clinical environment (an asset but not required)
