Progitech is currently looking for a computer technician who will be operational in the Thompson, MB area as a self-employed person.
Main responsibilities- Diagnose issues on GPU servers
- Replace and validate hardware components
- Provide basic support for Linux and Windows environments
- Perform maintenance to ensure system reliability and performance
- Document technical interventions and updates
- Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure operational continuity
Desired skills- Experience in IT support or as an IT Technician
- Solid understanding of server hardware (GPU systems, components, infrastructure)
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows Server
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Autonomous, detail-oriented, and team player
- Asset: experience in data centers, HPC, or AI environments
Working conditionsSalary according to experience;
Stable daytime schedule (9 AM – 5 PM)
Conditions of employmentMust have a car and a driver's license;
Be open to perform clearances and certifications.
