IT Technician (Level 2 Tech) – Remote (Canada)

Preferred location: British Columbia (PDT) or Newfoundland (NDT)
Compensation: $55,000 – $70,000
(Compensation is based on experience, technical capability, and ability to work independently in a client-facing environment, with a yearly review tied to KPIs.)
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
Shift Options (Choose One)Overnight:- 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM EDT
- 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM NDT
Daytime:- 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EDT
- 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM NDT
Some flexibility may be required for maintenance windows or urgent support needs.

About the RoleWe are hiring a IT Technician (Level 2) to support our hotel clients across North America.
This is a client-facing role, ideal for someone who:
- Enjoys troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Can work independently
- Is coachable and eager to grow
You’ll be supporting mission-critical hotel systems where uptime is essential.
What You’ll Do- Manage users in Active Directory
- Administer Microsoft 365 / Office 365 (Outlook, licensing, mailboxes)
- Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, and printers
- Provide professional client-facing support to hotel teams
- Assist with network and firewall troubleshooting
- Use PSA/RMM tools for ticketing and monitoring
- Support scheduled maintenance (sometimes outside standard hours)
Must-Have- Active Directory experience
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365 (Outlook)
- Basic networking & firewall understanding
- Windows & Mac familiarity
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- String time tracking abilities
- Experience using a ticket system
- Excellent communication
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable internet
Nice-to-Have (But not a deal breaker)- Hospitality Experience
- Hotel systems (Simphony, Opera)
- SonicWall firewalls
- Dell servers (iDRAC, RAID)
- PSA/RMM (Ninja, Halo)
- Cybersecurity tools (Huntress, ThreatLocker)
- Network cabling / telecom knowledge
