Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious finance/commerce/business student to join our team as a Junior Finance & Operations Analyst for a summer internship opportunity. Reporting directly to the Managing Director / CFO, this role offers hands-on exposure to the financial and operational challenges involved in scaling and integrating an company in the athletic therapy/medical supply market.
This is not a traditional back-office finance role. The successful candidate will gain real-world experience across finance, operations, marketing, and business strategy while working closely with senior leadership. The role is ideal for a student looking to understand how businesses operate, grow, and improve performance in a practical environment.
Key Responsibilities Financial Support & Analysis- Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Support cash flow tracking, expense analysis, and operational financial reviews
- Help organize and improve financial data and reporting processes
- Participate in evaluating operational performance and identifying inefficiencies
- Assist in developing KPIs and dashboards to support decision-making
Operational & Business Improvement- Work alongside leadership to improve operational workflows and business processes
- Assist in documenting and standardizing procedures across departments
- Participate in projects related to integration, systems improvement, and organizational efficiency
- Conduct research and analysis to support strategic business initiatives
- Help identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements
Cross-Functional Exposure- Collaborate with multiple departments including finance, operations, administration, and management
- Gain insight into how operating companies function and scale effectively
- Participate in meetings, planning discussions, and operational problem-solving initiatives
- Support ad hoc projects and business challenges as they arise
Qualifications- Currently enrolled in a university degree program in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Interest in finance, operations, entrepreneurship, or business management

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
