Duties

• Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
• Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
• Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to all food safety protocols
• Prepare ingredients, wash produce, and organize supplies for efficient kitchen operation
• Serve meals to customers or staff in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers following safety guidelines
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience in cooking, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
• Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently and accurately
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and basic cooking techniques
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the kitchen setting
• Food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
