Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers

• Serve food to customers or staff in a courteous and efficient manner
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination or spoilage
• Assist with dishwashing, waste disposal, and general kitchen sanitation tasks

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with serving, food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices is advantageous
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail is beneficial
• Kitchen experience or background in meal preparation will be considered a plus
• Strong understanding of food handling protocols and safety standards is desirable
