Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented and customer-focused Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, design, and customer service, with the ability to create customized kitchen solutions that meet clients' aesthetic and functional needs. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their vision, presenting design options, and managing the project from initial consultation through installation. The Kitchen Designer will utilize advanced design tools and sales techniques to deliver exceptional service and drive high-end sales.
Responsibilities- Consult with clients to assess their kitchen remodeling needs, preferences, and budget.
- Create detailed kitchen designs using software such as Mozaik, SketchUp, AutoCAD ensuring accuracy and aesthetic appeal.
- Present product demos and design proposals to clients, highlighting features, benefits, and upselling opportunities.
- Manage the entire sales process including inside and outside sales, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Assist clients with product selection, merchandising, and layout planning to optimize space utilization.
- Conduct renovation and construction consultations to coordinate project timelines and specifications.
- Handle POS transactions, cash handling, and account management efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Develop marketing strategies to attract new clients through multilingual outreach or other channels as needed.
- Maintain organized records of client interactions, project details, and sales activities.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure seamless project execution from start to finish.
Requirements- Proven experience in retail or high-end sales, inside sales, or outside sales roles.
- Proficiency in design software such as Mozaik, CAD, SketchUp for creating detailed layouts.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Knowledge of renovation, construction processes, and project management is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, merchandising, and customer service best practices.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in account management and product demos.
- Basic math skills for measurements, pricing calculations, and budgeting purposes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
