Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in providing excellent food service. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The Kitchen Helper will assist with food preparation, cooking, and food handling tasks to ensure smooth daily operations in our restaurant or food service establishment. Duties- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and basic dishes under supervision
- Help with food handling, storage, and sanitation to maintain cleanliness and safety
- Serve food to customers or staff in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers following safety guidelines
- Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
RequirementsPrevious experience in serving, food preparation, or kitchen work is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food service
Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies as needed
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hourExperience:Fine dining: 1 year (required)
