Calgary Housing (CH) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The City of Calgary. CH is a purpose-driven social enterprise and the largest housing operator in Calgary, providing safe and affordable housing to more than 27,000 Calgarians. As a Business Technology and Data Management Lead, you will oversee the use of technology, data, and business process management functions to drive innovation and business value.
Primary duties include:- Develop, implement and maintain a long term technology roadmap and strategy.
- Lead data, process, business intelligence and technology management to deliver business value in collaboration with VPs and Leaders to advance Calgary Housing Business strategies.
- Develop and implement an AI strategy for Calgary Housing within The City IT infrastructure and framework.
- Forecast future business needs and develop technology solutions to enable CH's business strategy.
- Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects, including a project management function as well as CH's applications and numerous technology platforms.
- Provide technology service management and support including technical change management, audit compliance, incident management, problem management, service requests, configuration management, and financial management of services being provided.
- Define, procure, negotiate, and monitor performance metrics related to resources, products, and services according to the negotiated Service Level Agreements (SLAs), contracts.
- Develop and manage an operating budget. Financially plan for long term technology investments that enhance business value.
- Provide leadership, direction and coaching to develop and motivate a high-performance team including hiring, training, goal setting, monitoring work plan deliverables, succession planning and compensation management.
Qualifications- A degree in Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Math, Engineering, Bachelor of Science, or a related degree and at least 8 years of related experience with increasing responsibility in overseeing complex technology, data and process management.

- Experience with people management, process management, service management design and implementation, project management and strategic planning is required.
