About the role

EY-Parthenon is hiring a Learning Leader for its Canadian practice on an 18-month contract. The role shapes and delivers the practice’s learning and capability-building strategy, working with EY-Parthenon leaders and learning, talent, risk and quality teams.

Responsibilities

  • Set the learning strategy and roadmap, aligning capability priorities with business and workforce needs.
  • Oversee learning across technical, consulting, leadership, onboarding and future-focused capabilities.
  • Advise senior leaders and partner with learning champions, facilitators and subject-matter resources.
  • Embed responsible AI and new ways of working in learning and change enablement.
  • Lead learning governance, compliance, continuing education, policy guidance and risk management.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, vendors, contracts and learning investments.
  • Lead and coach the learning team and represent EY-Parthenon Canada in national and global learning forums.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in learning, capability development or a related field.
  • Business acumen, strategic thinking and experience leading complex programs and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, consulting, relationship management, analytical and project-management skills.
  • Adaptability and interest in emerging technologies and AI.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Learning, Instructional Design or a related field is an asset.

Work arrangement and compensation

Location: Edmonton, Alberta. The posting does not specify a remote or hybrid arrangement. This is an 18-month contract. Salary ranges listed in the posting apply to Vancouver/Victoria and Dieppe; no Edmonton salary range is provided.
