About the role

The Learning Solutions Specialist supports the design, development, and delivery of national learning solutions within KPMG Canada's National Audit Learning KBS team. The role works with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to translate business priorities into engaging, scalable learning experiences.

What you will do

  • Learning design: Gather learning requirements, clarify objectives, apply adult learning and instructional design principles, and contribute to learner-centred content across areas such as sales enablement, digital, and human skills.
  • Learning development: Build and maintain facilitator guides, participant materials, digital learning materials, assessments, learning pathways, and communications. Coordinate content reviews, updates, timelines, and stakeholder support.
  • Learning delivery: Coordinate program launches, pilots, learner communications, registrations, facilitator and participant support, and virtual and in-person logistics.
  • Monitor learner and program progress, identify and escalate risks, gather feedback, analyze participation data, and recommend improvements to learning solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Learning and Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience supporting learning and development and instructional design.
  • Experience in professional services or a similarly complex, matrixed organization is an asset.

Skills and capabilities

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience developing and maintaining learning resources and using learning technologies such as Degreed, virtual learning platforms, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong stakeholder communication, project coordination, organization, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled learning tools is an asset. Facilitation experience and certifications such as CTDP, APTD, or CPTD are also assets.

Compensation

The expected base salary range is $55,000–$82,000 for the Ontario and BC regions. The position may be eligible for bonus awards. Salary within the range depends on location, skills, competencies, and qualifications.
