We’re actively looking for a Geotechnical/Environmental Coordinator to join GeoPro’s team. Our ideal candidate has skills assisting with and coordinating Geotechnical /Environment related projects. Your main responsibilities will be:- Coordinate on various engineering projects including communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments.
- Participate in project management meetings, office meetings, health and safety inspections.
- Support drilling work, including locates, permit applications, supervising drillers, soil sampling and logging.
- Coordinate and manage project schedules and track progress.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff.
- Liaise with environmental agencies and attend field visits with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Work on multiple projects, to support the execution of scope/budget/schedule to meet the client's expectations.
- Prepare field reports and any other reports as required.
- In addition, any other functions assigned to you as part of your employment.
Your Profile:- Undergraduate degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or Environmental Sciences required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a consulting firm.
- Proficient in using MS Office, MS Project, and CAD
- Highly motivated and self-managed. Work productively and meet deadlines timely.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
- Consistently maintain professionalism and objectivity while working with colleagues and clients who require varying degrees of support.
- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Regular, reliable attendance.
- Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability to scheduling changes and occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work.
- Handle difficult situations with tact to maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external contacts.
