Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair various vehicle issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and hand tools
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
• Utilize power tools and welding equipment for repairs and assembly tasks
• Conduct inspections to identify mechanical problems and recommend appropriate solutions
• Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and the use of personal protective equipment
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
• Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly to clients

Experience

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably within a dealership environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment
• Experience with welding and vehicle assembly is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repair procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
• Prior experience with automotive repair software or maintenance management systems is advantageous
