OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook who can also work as front desk cashier/customer service to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Duties- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to established recipes and standards.
- Take customer orders and provide excellent communication bridge between customer order and back end staff
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
- Participate in the training of new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn new cooking techniques.
