Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations within a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including sanitizing workstations and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of service and food quality
Qualifications- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is an asset however it's not mandatory
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences
