Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and efficient Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. we are looking for cooks with 2-3 years kitchen experience with open availability. Cooks will be responsible for prepping and working the line during service hours as well as keeping a clean work environment.
Duties- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items according to standardized recipes and procedures
- Cook dishes with precision, ensuring proper presentation and taste
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards
- Follow all food handling and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment
- Support the team during busy service times by efficiently managing multiple orders
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals promptly
Requirements- 2-3 years kitchen experience or culinary school certificate
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene standards at all times
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
- Passion for cooking and a desire to grow within the food industry
Pay$17.85-$22.00 per hour
