Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring all food safety standards are met. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, and a passion for food preparation and service is essential.

Duties

• Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
• Cook menu items with consistency, quality, and efficiency
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of food products
• Support the team during busy service times by efficiently managing multiple orders
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the food service process

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
