About the RoleThe Copper Mug Pub is seeking a motivated student to support our kitchen team and back‑of‑house operations during the busy summer season. This role is ideal for students interested in culinary arts, food service, or hospitality operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with basic food prep (washing, chopping, portioning, labeling)
- Support line cooks with simple tasks during service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Dishwashing and equipment cleaning
- Receive and organize deliveries (stock rotation, labeling, storage)
- Assist with prep for events and functions
- Help set up and tear down for special events
- Maintain BOH workstations, fridges, and storage areas
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Support FOH during peak times (bussing, table resets)
Skills & Qualities- Comfortable in a fast‑paced kitchen environment
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Interest in culinary work or hospitality is an asset
- No experience required — full training provided
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.20-$18.00 per hour
