Job Overview:The cook is responsible for meal preparation, clean up and assisting the executive chef as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities- Prepare food for guests while following guidelines laid out by the executive chef.
- Fulfill guest orders in a timely manner while adhering to best practices and careful preparation of food items.
- Keep your work area clean and free of unsanitary items and objects; properly dispose of waste in appropriate receptacles.
- Remain knowledgeable about the restaurant menu and make accommodations on individual orders as requested by guests.
- In collaboration with the Head Chef and General Manager help design and enhance meu
- Work alongside other team members to ensure streamlined service and a commitment to work together to achieve company goals.
- Ensure that food area stocked and organized; alert the Executive Chef of any inventory deficiencies, and keep inventory records.
- With the help of the Executive Chef and/or the General Manager resolve problems with wait staff, customer orders, or other food-related issues in the kitchen in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain and/or alert the Executive Chef of any equipment issues.
- Ensure that food presentation consistently meets the standard as directed by the Executive Chef.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor the freshness of ingredients
- Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
- Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with manager, coworkers and customers
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or the General Manager

Pay:$20.00-$25.00 per hour
