Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our bustling kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent food safety practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring all food served meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude are equally important.
Responsibilities- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, and measuring to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food plating and presentation for service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed
- Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members
Requirements- Prior experience in serving, food preparation, or food service preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to cook using various techniques and equipment in a professional kitchen setting
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and food industry best practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or evenings if needed
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
