Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall food service experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, food safety, and delivering excellent service to our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the food industry.

Duties

• Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and standards
• Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure timely service
• Stock supplies and notify management of inventory needs
• Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

• Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service setting
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours
• Strong attention to detail in meal presentation and ingredient measurements
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
• Familiarity with serving protocols and customer service principles is a plus
• Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to evolving menu items
• Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
