We are currently hiring immediately for experienced Local Class 1 Drivers to join our growing Edmonton team.
Position SummaryWe are looking for a reliable, safety-focused, and professional Local Class 1 Driver to operate within the Edmonton area. If you are an experienced driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service, and being part of a strong team, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities- Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles within the Edmonton area.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Pick up and deliver freight safely and on time.
- Secure cargo and ensure all loads meet safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Follow all provincial and federal transportation regulations.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and safety-focused work environment.
Requirements- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence.
- Minimum 2 years of verified Class 1 driving experience.
- Clean Commercial Driver's Abstract.
- Strong knowledge of Alberta transportation regulations and safe driving practices.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
Preferred Qualifications- CP Rail and CN Rail experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with container, drayage, or intermodal operations is considered an asset.
