Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and equipment, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight, equipment, and materials to designated locations
• Safely load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs, including automotive repairs when necessary
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities
• Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management when required
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and deliveries

Skills

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, and other industrial machinery
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations
• Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
