COMMENCING: As soon as can be arranged to June 30, 2026 or one day prior to the return of the incumbent.
COMPENSATION: CUPE Clerical-Technical Employees Payband 1 $41.21 - $45.52 per hour
HOURS: 8.0 hours per day, five days per week
JOB SUMMARY:The Information Systems Network Services Technician will be responsible for the management of various Microsoft technologies including but not limited to: Entra, Intune, SCCM, Defender, Teams and Exchange. Other duties will include security training for end users, printer fleet management and accounting for all LRSD locations and general troubleshooting and collaboration with others to find solutions to day-to-day problems as they arise. The IS Network Services Technician position supports the strategic actions of the Multi-Year Strategic Plan.
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):- Completion of post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Systems, Network Administration, or a related field, typically at the college diploma level, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Industry-recognized certifications related to Microsoft enterprise technologies (e.g., identity, endpoint management, security, collaboration), or certification in progress
- Minimum of two (2) years of practical, related experience in an enterprise IT environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting modern Microsoft platforms and services
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated understanding of privacy, security, and confidentiality requirements
- In person work expected
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Clear report from the Child Abuse Registry.
- Respect In School or equivalent training is required.
