About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Manager, Financial Reporting to lead the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely financial statements in compliance with US GAAP. This role is central to our external reporting function and partners closely with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, and external auditors.
About the OpportunityFinancial Reporting & Close- Own the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Lead the month-end and quarter-end close process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Maintain and enforce accounting policies and internal controls (SOX, where applicable)
External Reporting- Coordinate and prepare SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) or equivalent regulatory reports, including MD&A and footnote disclosures
- Manage the external audit process — primary liaison with external auditors for PBC requests, walkthroughs, and issue resolution
- Monitor and assess the impact of new FASB/ASC pronouncements; implement required changes
Technical Accounting- Research and document complex accounting matters (revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, equity, etc.)
- Prepare technical accounting memos and position papers
- Support due diligence and integration accounting for M&A activity as needed
Leadership & Collaboration- Supervise and develop 1–3 staff/senior accountants; provide coaching and performance feedback
- Partner with FP&A on variance analysis and management reporting
- Collaborate with IT/Systems teams on ERP enhancements and reporting automation
- Support internal audit and SOX compliance testing
About YouRequired- CPA designation (active)
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting/reporting experience
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805, etc.)
- Experience with SEC reporting or equivalent public company reporting
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Business Central)
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with consolidation tools (e.g., Workiva, HFM, BPC)
Preferred- Big 4 or large regional public accounting experience
- Experience in [industry: financial services / technology / manufacturing]
- Familiarity with XBRL tagging and SEC EDGAR filing tools
- Exposure to IFRS and US GAAP dual-reporting environments

- Clear written and verbal communication — able to translate technical accounting to non-finance stakeholders
