Manager of Clinical Practice (Nurse)

We are seeking a Manager of Clinical Practice (MCP) to provide clinical leadership and ensure excellence in client care.
Role OverviewThe MCP promotes full-scope clinical practice, ensures compliance with professional and regulatory standards, and leads quality improvement initiatives.
This role provides clinical oversight, staff leadership, and mentorship across professional and paraprofessional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead clinical quality, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure holistic client assessments and client‑centered care plans
- Visit clients as needed; manage service delivery and client/HCP matching
- Investigate and resolve client, family, funder, and employee concerns
- Recruit, supervise, coach, and evaluate field staff
- Lead training, mentorship, and performance management activities
- Coordinate with funders, care teams, and government programs
- Support branch operations, including on‑call clinician access as required
- Ensure privacy, health & safety, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications:Education & Registration- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (LPN/RN)
- Current registration in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
- CPR certification and negative TB status
- Specialty nursing certifications (e.g., CNA, LEAP, deSouza) are an asset
Experience- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership or supervisory nursing experience (community setting preferred)
- Experience leading training and education initiatives
- Strong understanding of HR practices and policy interpretation
- Business development experience is an asset
Skills & Requirements- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and lead high‑performing teams
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Clear criminal background check, including vulnerable sector search
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, EHRs, virtual platforms)
