About the RoleWe are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team in an entry-level, hands-on support role. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who is highly organized, dependable, and interested in learning how a professional marketing and business development team operates.
The role is primarily focused on supporting the day-to-day coordination and execution of marketing and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities- Support the day-to-day coordination and execution of marketing and business development activities.
- Maintain and organize marketing materials, inventory, and the marketing storage room.
- Prepare, package, and coordinate materials and shipments for events, sponsorships, and initiatives.
- Assist with event logistics, including planning support and on-site setup when required.
- Maintain marketing calendars, track deadlines and deliverables, and provide administrative support, including data entry, updating internal trackers, and organizing marketing documents and files.
- Assist with lead generation activities and support intake-related and digital marketing tasks, such as directory updates and basic website support.
- Organize and maintain digital assets such as photos, videos, and marketing files.
- Conduct basic research to support marketing initiatives, events, and directory opportunities.
- Assist with social media scheduling, blog uploads, and other digital updates as needed.
Day in the lifeYou might spend your morning preparing materials for an upcoming conference or coordinating deliveries, then shift to updating marketing trackers, assisting with digital tasks such as website or directory updates, or supporting lead generation and intake-related initiatives. On other days, you may be helping with event setup, organizing marketing assets, or assisting the team with a new campaign.
What We are Looking For- 0–2 years of experience in an administrative, marketing, or coordination role (co-op or internship experience considered). Recent or expected graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, proactive, and willing to take ownership of tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Interest in marketing, events, or business development is an asset.
- Experience with social media or digital tools is an with an asset, but not required.
- Asset: An understanding of or interest in sports is highly valued.
