Lerners is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Technology Specialist. This role will be responsible for the oversight, management and ongoing development of the technology platforms that support the activities of the firm’s Marketing and Business Development (MBD) team. The role plays an important part in ensuring that systems are aligned with departmental priorities, support effective client development practices, and enable the firm to operate efficiently and consistently.
Working closely with the Chief Brand & Strategy Officer, Directors of Business Development and Marketing and the Digital Marketing Manager, among others, this position collaborates with stakeholders to assess requirements, implement and enhance platforms, and ensure appropriate governance of marketing and business development technologies. The role also serves as the primary interface between the Marketing & Business Development function and IT with respect to systems planning and implementation.
A key priority for this role will be serving as the primary Marketing point of contact during the implementation of the firm’s new CRM platform, leading the departmental rollout and supporting successful adoption across the team.

Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary Marketing & Business Development contact for the implementation, rollout, and ongoing management of the firm’s CRM platform
- Coordinate CRM training, user support, documentation, troubleshooting, and adoption initiatives
- Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and effectiveness of CRM and related marketing technology platforms through regular audits, reporting, and system improvements
- Manage and enhance Marketing & Business Development technology tools, including CRM, marketing automation, CMS, SharePoint, and productivity platforms
- Build and maintain the department’s intranet and SharePoint environments to support collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Act as the primary liaison between Marketing & Business Development, IT, and external vendors regarding technology platforms and system enhancements
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, reporting, and operational efficiency within the department
- Support reporting, analytics, and tracking related to marketing and business development activities
- Coordinate external vendor relationships, including support requests, renewals, and ongoing platform management
- Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives related to marketing and business development technology
Qualifications & Experience:- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing technology, business systems, or related role
- Experience working with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools in a professional services environment is strongly preferred
- Experience with system adoption, training, and change management
- Experience with data management, auditing, and reporting
- Strong project management skills, with demonstrated experience leading and implementing technology initiatives with firm‑wide impact. Project management certification is an asset.
- Strong service‑oriented approach, with the ability to assess stakeholder needs and develop practical, compliant solutions
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, including custom solutions and integrations tailored to business-specific needs.
