The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $67,200 - $88,200. The salary offered will be based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills and qualifications.
Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing, Communications and Operations Support Specialist to support our Toyota University (TU) team. This is a full-time opportunity and will report to the Manager of Learning Technology and Professional Education.
The selected candidate will manage and coordinate logistics for training locations, liaise with hotels/conference center and complete contracts for TU training programs across Canada. They will also be responsible for managing marketing & communications of TU training initiatives to ensure dealer awareness and encourage dealer participation.

What You’ll be Doing:Toyota University Marketing & Communications- Support marketing and communication for overall Toyota University training programs
- Coordinate Toyota University's weekly training e-newsletter, ensuring all submitted content is accurate, timely, engaging and consistent in format with both current and previous editions
- Organize weekly editorial meetings, proactively seek additional content when needed, and manage the approval process to ensure all materials are finalized before release
Vendor Liaison and Management- Manage logistical planning and scheduling of in-person training workshops
- Monitor the progress of each training program, tracking key milestones and deliverables to ensure timelines are met.
- Collaborate with external vendors to plan and organize annual conferences
- Supervise on-site operations to ensure smooth execution of event
- Coordinate and support dealers with training questions pertaining to registration
- Negotiate contract terms with external partners to ensure contracts are structured in a way that protects TCI’s interests for training
- Source venues, recommend catering, acquire supporting technology and coordinate the development of materials to execute a quality event with supplier
- Liaise with Accounting/Procurement to mitigate any risks
Budget Compliance- Assist with department budget reconciliation with managers – Selling Support and Dealer Fund
- Creation of PO and invoice entry on SAP
- Monitoring spending and keeping within budgets
- Prepare journal entries and coordinate approved accrual/reclass requests
- Manage Toyota University Corporate Credit Card
Training Platforms Management- Oversee SharePoint system ensuring it is organized and accessible for all users
- Create and maintain calendars that streamline TU Training programs
- Organize all courses for uploading into the LMS system. Ensure all content is correct and training links for dealers are in both SharePoint and LMS before making live for registration
