The Peach Room is hiring for our opening team in West Kelowna and is seeking a Mat Pilates Instructor to join our founding team.

We’re building a strong, supportive studio with consistent class blocks, thoughtful programming, and real opportunity for growth.

The Peach Room is a boutique Reformer + Mat Pilates studio opening in West Kelowna.

We’re building more than a studio—we’re creating a space rooted in strength, connection, and community. Our approach blends intentional programming with an elevated, welcoming environment where clients feel both supported and challenged.

Our focus includes:

• Women-centered wellness
• Prenatal & postpartum support
• Building routine, consistency, and confidence through movement

The Opportunity

This is a founding role—an opportunity to help shape the studio experience from day one.

You’ll have the ability to:

• Build a consistent teaching schedule over time
• Contribute to programming and class experience
• Grow with a brand that values quality, community, and long-term development

What You’ll Do

• Deliver safe, engaging, and well-structured Mat Pilates classes
• Provide clear instruction, strong cueing, and appropriate modifications
• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive client experience
• Arrive ~15 minutes before class for preparation and client connection
• Remain ~10–15 minutes after class for reset and client interaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and high-quality studio environment
• Support studio events, pop-ups, and community initiatives as needed

What We’re Looking For

Certified Mat Pilates Instructor

Strong understanding of movement, alignment, and modifications

Ability to confidently teach mixed-level classes

Experience in one or more of the following is an asset:

• Beginner / foundational instruction
• Athletic or strength-based programming
• Mobility or slower tempo flows
• Sculpt or targeted formats
• Prenatal / postpartum

You are:

• Warm, engaging, and confident in client interaction
• Reliable and consistent with your schedule
• Aligned with a community-focused, team-oriented environment
• Comfortable being part of a growing brand

Compensation & Growth

Competitive per-session rates

Additional paid opportunities for:

• Workshops
• Events
• Specialty classes

Sessions include time allocated for:

• Client interaction
• Setup and reset
• Studio presence

Classes are managed through Walla, and compensation is based on completed sessions.

Availability

Provide your availability and accept sessions that align with your schedule

Consistent weekly availability preferred

Weekend availability strongly encouraged

Priority access to recurring class blocks for reliable instructors

Engagement Structure

Independent contractor role

Initial 6-month agreement with opportunity for extension and long-term growth based on fit and studio needs.

Instructors are responsible for:

• Maintaining valid liability insurance
• Keeping certifications up to date
• Managing their own taxes
