Go Beyond Academy is seeking inspiring and adaptable instructors to join our team in Richmond Hill. We are looking for specialists who can teach Mathematics (Grades 1–12) and/or Physics (Grades 11–12).
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in the Ontario curriculum, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for student growth. This position begins in May with afternoon/weekend hours, shifts to a full-day schedule for July and August, and continues into the fall.
Key Responsibilities- Instruction: Design and deliver dynamic lessons in Mathematics (Elementary to Grade 12) and/or Physics (Grade 11–12).
- Senior Specialization: For math-focused roles, proficiency in Advanced Functions, Calculus, and Data Management is highly valued.
- Adaptability: Tailor instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and individual student needs.
- Classroom Culture: Cultivate an inclusive, respectful, and engaging environment.
- Communication: Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to parents and guardians.
Qualifications- Subject Expertise: Demonstrated mastery in Mathematics and/or Physics.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred). Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT), or university students/graduates in Education, STEM, or related fields.
- Experience: Proven teaching or tutoring experience, preferably at the intermediate/senior level.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to connect with children and adolescents and work effectively within a team.
Work Schedule- Spring (May 15 – June): Part-time (Afternoons and Weekends).
- Summer (July – August): Full-time or Part-time (Daytime shifts).
- Fall (September onwards): Part-time (Afternoons and Weekends).
