Leading Aces Academy (LAA) is a premier educational institution specializing in competitive mathematics and advanced computer science. We provide rigorous curriculum designed to bridge the gap between standard school math and math competitions. While we currently operate as a cutting-edge online platform, teach grade 6 to 12, we are preparing to expand into in-person instruction.
The Role:We are seeking passionate, high-caliber Mathematics Instructors to join our elite faculty. You will be responsible for delevering engaging, high-level lessons to students who are gifted in logic and problem-solving. This is not a typical tutoring role; you will be coaching students to master complex concept.
Key Responsibilities:- Support students in Math Essentials by strengthening foundational concepts at an enriched pace, building clarity, confidence, and long term understanding aligned with and beyond school curriculum.
- Teach advanced topics such as Geometry, Algebra, Number Theory, and Combinatory.
- Guide students through the art of mathematical proof-writing and logical reasoning.
- Provide detailed feedback on student performance and maintain high academic standards.
(Future Opportunity) Lead in-person enrichment classes for junior elementary students.
Required Qualifications:- Academic Excellence: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Competition Background: Strong familiarity with the format and content of math competitions (AMC, Waterloo Contests, CMO, etc.).
- Pedagogical Skill: Ability to simplify complex, abstract concepts for younger learners.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable teaching in a digital environment; experience with digital whiteboards (e.g., Miro, Notability) and Discord is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills.
