OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. Prior classroom experience and familiarity with special education or laboratory activities are considered valuable assets. Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for various grade levels.
- Deliver engaging and interactive mathematics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and observations, providing constructive feedback.
- Support students' individual learning needs, including those requiring special education accommodations.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and curriculum development.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and behavioral concerns.
- Incorporate laboratory or hands-on activities when appropriate to enhance understanding of mathematical concepts.
Experience- Prior classroom teaching experience is preferred, especially in elementary or middle school settings.
- Experience tutoring students in mathematics at various levels is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with special education techniques and accommodations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students are essential for success in this role.
