Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in math instruction, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves delivering engaging lessons, supporting diverse student needs, and promoting academic excellence in mathematics. Prior classroom experience and familiarity with special education or laboratory activities are considered valuable assets. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for various grade levels.
• Deliver engaging and interactive mathematics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and observations, providing constructive feedback.
• Support students' individual learning needs, including those requiring special education accommodations.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and curriculum development.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and behavioral concerns.
• Incorporate laboratory or hands-on activities when appropriate to enhance understanding of mathematical concepts.

Experience

• Prior classroom teaching experience is preferred, especially in elementary or middle school settings.
• Experience tutoring students in mathematics at various levels is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with special education techniques and accommodations is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
