Our Laboratory Services Department uses state of the art equipment, technology and processes to collect and test clinical specimens in order to obtain information about the health of our patients so that our inter-professional teams can diagnose, treat and prevent disease.
Our Medical Laboratory Technologists assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease by performing tests on tissue, blood and other body fluids. Hourly Rate: $36.84 - 50.24
Position Responsibilities:- Routine & Stat Laboratory Testing in Microbiology
- Can be assigned and/or trained in other Laboratory Disciplines and other related duties, including not limited to Pathology
Qualifications:- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Current registration as General Medical Laboratory Technologist with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO).
- 2 years of recent Clinical Microbiology experience is preferred
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge & skills in Clinical Microbiology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively alone or with all team members, including co-workers, physicians and other health care team members.
- Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
