Job OverviewLet's Get Moving - Fredericton is seeking a reliable and professional Mover/Helper/Driver to join our team. This role involves wrapping, packing, safely loading into the truck, organizing and securing them in the truck, transporting, unloading goods efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, heavy lifting, and moving operations, ensuring safe and timely deliveries across designated routes. Duties- Safely operate automatic transmission hydraulic box trucks to deliver goods to clients’ locations.
- Load and unload items ensuring proper handling of all cargo.
- Drive route schedules efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist customers with their moving needs, providing courteous and professional service throughout the process.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and equipment at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure operational safety.
- Assist with warehouse organization, including loading supplies and inventory management as needed.
Skills- Customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients during deliveries.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during moves or deliveries.
- Experience operating box trucks with automatic transmission is preferred.
- Strong driving skills with a valid driver’s license suitable for driver classifications or equivalent.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to lifting, moving, loading, unloading.
- This position is vital for ensuring smooth logistics operations while maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.
Pay$17.00-$18.00 per hour
