Responsibilities- Safely load, unload, and transport items using appropriate moving equipment and vehicles
- Operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and forklifts, adhering to all safety regulations
- Assist customers with their moving needs, ensuring a positive experience through professional service
- Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly, ensuring proper techniques to prevent injury
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate schedules and optimize routes
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow safety protocols at all times during loading, transportation, and unloading processes
Skills- Proven experience in moving or warehouse operations preferred
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or the ability to obtain one is highly desirable
- Truck and trailer experience is a huge asset
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and interacting with customers
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and safety standards
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are essential for this role
