WORK YOU’LL DOWe are looking for a Network-Security Consultant to help drive and oversee major network and security transformation projects that span hybrid, cloud, and on-premises settings. This position requires technical expertise in designing, building, and implementing advanced network solutions in client environments, coupled with strong consulting and solutioning skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct current‑state assessments, identify gaps, and define target‑state architectures and roadmaps
- Act as a technical lead and trusted advisor to clients and delivery teams, with the ability to articulate technology vision with expertise.
- Design and support network and security architectural solutions across:
- SD‑WAN, SASE, and Edge Networks
- Firewalls, micro-segmentation and Zero Trust solutions
- Hybrid data center and cloud connectivity (Azure/AWS)
- Tool Observability and Automation
- Programmatic Networks
- Combine network security segmentation, policy optimization, and monitoring with an automation-first mindset and programmatic networking expertise to enhance security posture.
- Leverage network observability and automation tools to enhance performance and optimize network management.
- Validate AI-assisted analysis with logic, experience, and domain knowledge.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR- 3+ years of experience transforming and migrating IT and OT network environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead architectural decisions and drive complex technical discussions
- Proven capability to operate as a solution architect, hands‑on technologist and client advisor
- Strong communication skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Core Technical Experience: Candidates must have expertise in architecting solutions, combined with hands-on experience in at least one area within each of the following categories:
- Networking: Enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN, BGP, OSPF, VRF
- Software‑Defined Networking: SD‑WAN platforms, SD-Access, ISE, Catalyst Center (DNAC)
- Security: NGFW, IPS/IDPS, Zero Trust, micro‑segmentation (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, Zscaler, F5)
- Observability & Automation: SolarWinds, Thousand Eyes, Catalyst Center, ISE, SIEM integration, Python, JSON, PowerShell
- Certifications
- CCNP / JNCIP‑ENT / ENCOR or equivalent technical experience
- CCNP Security / PCNSE or equivalent technical experience
NICE TO HAVE- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or in a related discipline
- CCIE or equivalent
- Network / Security certifications (Cisco, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba)
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty / Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
