Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Office Administrator to support daily operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of IT support, computer networking, and help desk functions. This role involves managing administrative tasks while providing technical assistance to staff, ensuring smooth office workflows, and maintaining IT systems. Experience with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, as well as familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy, is essential for success in this position.
Duties- Manage and troubleshoot desktop support issues across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Provide technical support related to computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and network connectivity (LAN, Firewall).
- Assist staff with VPN setup and connectivity issues to ensure secure remote access.
- Support the maintenance and configuration of IT infrastructure including operating systems and network devices.
- Utilize ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy for ticketing, issue tracking, and resolution documentation.
- Coordinate with IT teams to resolve service requests related to desktop support, software issues, and hardware problems.
- Maintain clear communication with staff regarding technical issues and solutions to enhance customer service experience.
- Support the setup and management of operating systems and software applications such as Microsoft Office suite.
- Assist in maintaining network security protocols including firewall configurations.
- Perform routine system updates and assist in the implementation of new IT solutions.
Experience- Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles with a focus on desktop troubleshooting and network support.
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of LAN setup, firewall management, VPN configuration, and basic cybersecurity practices.
- Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy for issue tracking.
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist users at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
