About us:Advantage IT Consulting is an IT services and managed security firm operating across the United States, Canada, and Colombia. We act as the fractional IT and security department for clients in manufacturing, financial services, accounting, healthcare, and legal. We're technically deep, direct, and obsessed with delivery quality.
The roleWe're hiring an Operations Manager to lead the technical and operational side of our business. You'll own service delivery, lead a team of four technical engineers and a project coordinator, and serve as the senior technical point of contact for our clients.
This is a player-coach role. You'll lead the team, but you'll also jump on escalations, design solutions, and sit with clients when it matters. If you only want to manage from the sidelines, this isn't the right fit.
What you'll own- Service delivery: Daily operations, ticket flow, SLAs, escalations, team standups, and quality control.
- Client relationships: Senior point of contact for assigned accounts. Run strategy meetings, quarterly reviews, and roadmap conversations.
- Solution architecture: Design across Microsoft 365/Azure, networking, virtualization, backup/DR, and identity. Translate business needs into proposals and SOWs.
- Cybersecurity oversight: Manage delivery of our security stack, advise clients, and lead incident response.
- Vendor & procurement: Manage vendor relationships, hardware/software procurement, and licensing.
