The current opportunity is for a Part Time Local AZ Driver.
Available Shifts:Please note that there may be opportunities to pick up extra hours by covering vacation over additional days
Wage: $25.00/hour
Responsibilities and Duties- Complete pre-trip inspection of truck and safely operate equipment
- Move product from production facility and transport to required locations
- Communicate & document trailer movements via email
- Occasional deliveries to local businesses
Do you have what it takes?- Must have an AZ licence with at least 3 years’ experience in the transportation industry
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Hours of service
- Electronic logging device must be used, will train
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently
- Strong communication skills & knowledge of smart phone technology
- Clean abstract and CVOR within the last 30 days
What will help you perform the job?- Ability to comfortably stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to comfortably walk, sit, bend, and crouch.
- Must be willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (hairnet, ear plugs, safety glasses, steel toed boots/shoes).
- Able to lift up to 30lbs (occasionally may be required to lift up to 50lbs)
