Part-time Temporary Educational Assistant (Classroom Complexity) — 0.5 FTE

Location: Red Deer, Alberta

Schedule: Morning classes only

This opportunity is open to internal and external applicants. The successful candidate will support a young student with complex academic, sensory, and behavioural needs, working with the teacher and inclusion team.

Key responsibilities

• Implement proactive de-escalation strategies, regulation routines, and positive behaviour plans.
• Deliver academic modifications under teacher direction to support student engagement.
• Support participation in classroom routines while building student independence.
• Track daily behavioural and academic data to inform intervention strategies.
