Support Staff responsibilities:- Work alongside and with guidance of inclusion team following our standards and curriculum
- Attend meetings with the inclusion team and accept training that is provided. Inclusion team will give your direct outlines and goals pertaining to each child's needs
- Depending on the level of one to one required. You may be required to be working with more than one child.
- Plan daily activities for the child to reach their goals.
- Daily detailed documentation pertaining to the child's needs.
- Providing support or guidance with activities of daily living with the child. For example teaching or aiding the child to clean up after themselves as specified in their care plan.
- Assist children with self-help skills (i.e. eating, toileting, washing hands, and dressing)
- Providing personal care for the child if necessary, For example, diaper changes and or assisting with meals or changing of clothes.
- Plan short and long range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives and program philosophy
- Incorporate webbed directed changes to the environment both inside and outside
- Plan field trips and special activities
- Provide opportunity for creative expression through mediums of art, dramatic play, and music
- Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
- Prepare craft materials and assist child/children to use them
- Document samples of a child's learning experiences through photos, transcriptions etc.
- Keeping up with the children's individual portfolio
- Maintain daily open communication with parents
- Complete detailed documentation of child’s development
- Follow housekeeping duties and sanitation. Making sure daily cleaning is done including closing down jobs which are done in accordance to your shifts.

Pay:$17.48-$26.52 per hour
