Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, and home care settings. This role is ideal for those passionate about senior care, working with individuals with disabilities, and making a positive impact on clients’ daily lives. The Support Worker will play a vital role in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for those in their care.

Duties

• Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
• Administer medications following prescribed schedules and protocols
• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors and individuals with disabilities
• Support clients with dementia care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
• Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic living space
• Help with household tasks such as laundry and organizing personal belongings
• Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure client safety at all times

Experience

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is preferred
• Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia care is highly desirable
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus
• Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
• Previous experience in caregiving roles involving meal preparation and light cleaning is beneficial
• Certification or training in caregiving or home health aide programs is advantageous but not required

Pay: $17.85-$29.32 per hour
